The Shaw Group Inc. Announces Conference Call Webcast
BATON ROUGE, La., Apr 22, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Shaw Group Inc. (NYSE:SGR) ("Shaw" or "the Company") today announced that it will host a conference call to discuss the Company's acquisition of substantially all of the assets of The IT Group, Inc. The call will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 and will begin at 8:00 a.m. Central Time.

A live webcast of the conference call will be available on the Investor Relations page of The Shaw Group's web site at www.shawgrp.com.

An audio replay of the call will be available through Tuesday, April 30, 2002 and may be accessed by dialing 800/633-8284. The reservation number to access the playback is 20531007.
